I'm 17, I'm based in London, and I build websites — properly, one at a time. This isn't something I picked up to earn on the side. It's the thing I've been pulled towards for years, and it's what I spend my hours on when nobody's asking me to.
Most sites at this price come off a template, because templates are quick. I don't work that way. Every project starts as a blank file, and I stay with it until the small things are right — how a headline arrives on screen, how a button answers the cursor, how the whole thing holds up on a four-year-old phone. That takes longer. It's also the entire difference between a website that exists and one people remember.
What I specialise in is 3D. Real WebGL, rendering live in the browser — not a video, not a picture of something 3D. Hardly anyone building for small businesses is doing this yet, and that is exactly the point: every competitor on your high street has a site that looks like every other site on your high street. Yours won't.
Being 17 isn't the caveat — it's the reason. I'm not carrying a decade of habits from an older way of building the web, and I'll give your project the hours a busy studio simply hasn't got.
I'd rather build ten sites people remember than a hundred nobody does.
